Introducing: Golden Artists Colors' new
Silverpoint / Drawing Ground

The new Silverpoint / Drawing Ground from Golden Artist Colors has been added to our line-up.

This new acrylic formulation requires no end-user preparation. All you have to do is "shake well" - until the ball inside rattles around for a while - then let it set a moment to void bubbles, and apply to stretched paper.

I have tested the results in my studio, and I am pleased to report that this ground responds very well to silver. One coat is sufficient to adequately prepare paper for drawing. It is, in fact, the first acyrlic formulation to receive my unconditional approval. So, in order to increase customer satisfaction and further simplify the process, it has replaced the Old Master Formula ground in the Complete Kit, and the price has been adjusted downward.

The Old Masters Formula Ground Kit will be offered separately, for those who still want to try it. Be forwarned, however, that a few users have experienced some difficulties with it.
